A Snow Guide for Citizens
IT IS ILLEGAL TO SHOVEL, DUMP OR BLOW SNOW INTO THE STREET OR ONTO PROPERTY OTHER THAN YOUR OWN. It is your responsibility to:
- Clear the snow around your mailbox.
- Keep vehicles off of the street (THIS INCLUDES PARKING OF CAMPERS, BOATS AND TRAILERS)
- Vehicles parked on the street consecutively over 48 are subject to a $10 fine per day of violation and may be towed at the owner's expense.
- Snow gates WILL NOT be used. The gates are unable to keep large amounts of snow inside the blade, damaging the gates and stopping the plow.
Snow plowing routes are plowed in their priority order to provide for the safe and orderly movement of vehicular traffic throughout the city.
